Folks—the news is official: Dave Ricketts, the “R” in RDH and one of our three co-founders is officially retired! We hope you make the most of this next chapter in life (we’ll be living vicariously through you), but we couldn’t send you off without hearing from some of the people you’ve inspired and impacted most over the years.

Bailey Brown | Principal, Building Science Specialist

“I’ve learned a lot from my dad. One of the most important things is that at the end of the day, it’s about people. What we do as industry leaders has a big impact on the individuals that use and live in the buildings we work on, but also the wonderful people at RDH who have the privilege to make them better.”

— Lorne Ricketts |  Regional Director – Canada West, Building Science Specialist

“Dave doesn’t elevate himself above others. He genuinely cares about people and wants them to succeed. This is one of his remarkable leadership strengths, among many.”

— Eunice Chow | Lead Learning Designer

“Dave’s leadership philosophy has stuck with me since I joined RDH. ‘Leaders are not named or promoted; leaders make themselves by leading.’ Dave is exemplar of this idea, his leadership is natural, steadfast, and inspirational.”

— Ariel Levy | President, Senior Building Science Specialist
